It's going to be 2010, and usually we make with new year resolution list as a benchmark or target to improve ourselves for the coming year. and that's what i did last year. The result.....NONE of them have been done. (Previous resolution) Sometimes the thing just relate to each other, such as......err...it looks like everything related to money? haha. Perhaps this year i'll come out with easier resolution, such as....... drinking 8 cups of water a day, turn off light when not using, or travel to pantai morib to have a picnic. oh my......
Recently, my work requires me to travel to more places in the cities around Klang Valley, such as the Complicated KL town, the Every-Road-Also-SS PJ, and the Irritating Everywhere-Also-Damansara. For a kampung boy like me, I seldom hang out around the town. Ask me where is the nearest TGI Friday, where is Zouk, where is Bangsar. Honestly, I'll reply you with "I DON'T KNOW how to go!" Can you believe this. OMG.
This is the problem when I have to go to a new location. I'll merry-go-round all over the town before i reach the destination. Sometimes i did 2 mistakes at the same place +_+ and the worst is when i travel to damansara which is really fresh to me. Ara Damansara and Bandar Sri Damansara are 20km apart. Between them there are more than 10 "Damansaras"...Imagine you are driving alone in between Damansaras and you are looking for one of the many Damansaras.....For a road noob like me, usually my mouth pop out white bubbles during the journey.
Can you suggest any economical and effective way to prevent this problem?YES! GOOGLEMAP! This is what I do everytime before I get my ass off from my office chair. I search for google maps with a direction assistance to guide me to the place....then, i print out few pages with few different zoom.....and PRREEEIIIITTTTT! Lets go~

You can see clearly that the blue line is the route i have to take to get to the destination. NKVE is quite familiar to me already, ha ha...NO PROBLEMO~
According to the map, i just need to make one left turn and i can slowly look for smaller signboard already. SUB SUB WATER....LA LA LA LU LA LA LU LA LU LA LEH~ OOPS....... terlepas junction

I don't have the map for the road which i am currently driving on....! I look here, I look there......all xxx DAMANSARA!According to the map above, obviously i have been diverted to the wrong direction and to the "Damansaras".....
As you can see above, I can use the time i've consumed to have a cup of coffee, 2 pieces of roti bakar, 2 half boiled eggs and read through the entire newspaper @_@So, as a conclusion, we cannot fully dependent on googlemap as it is too dangerous for noob like me. Perhaps google earth will help. GPS System XD
Moral: Mistake makes perfect? So, I have to get lost a lot of times before i am PERFECT. haha!
