Earth Hour 2009!
Its 8.46pm now, and I am supporting the earth hour! My family and I really switch off the lights now! So, left 2 fridges, one TV, one pc, one fan and my mums feng shui fountain still consuming on electricity. What is earth hour? Err……err……It’s a plan organized by the World Burglar Organization, so that they can have OT today, or perhaps a preparation by TNB, because they cant produce electric as fast as we consume, so they must have 2nd earth hour after this. I think that’s the correct answer…… ^^ better ask wikipedia…
“Earth Hour is an international event organised by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature/World Wildlife Fund), and held on the last Saturday of March each year, which asks households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.
Earth Hour 2009 is from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time, 2009-03-28. Currently, 82 countries and more than 2100 cities are 'committed to Earth Hour 2009', a huge increase from people participating in 35 countries for Earth Hour 2008. 1 billion 'votes' is the stated aim for Earth Hour 2009, in the context of the pivotal 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference.”bla bla bla….all in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth_hour.
I’ve taken some pics during the Earth hour. Hope there is Earth Hour every year so I everyone in my family will realise how clean is the toilet bowl which my mum cleans it, and appreciate my mum’s hard work.
My dad give up? Went to toilet!
My mum went to kitchen!

My career My life
Perseverance – I saw this characteristic inside a human in my work place. He possesses a genuine perseverance that led him to success until today. He sacrificed most of his time just for money and work. This is the first time I witness the highest stage of determination of a human.
Consistency – Now I realize how free I was during my study times. In the working life, we don’t have much time to do things like hobby or traveling. And I am so proud to have my mum as my mum. ^^ She have the time to wash our clothes, dry them, iron them, fold, cook dinner, wash dishes, cleaning house. Wondering why I said these? She is an executive in a planning and sales department! She even has the time for dance class, yoga and meditation! And she won’t miss her Korean movie every night. She can cook up to 4 types of food in 30 minutes once she returns home back from her office. How could this happen? I don’t brag or crap here. Tell me if u have a mum like mine. Lolz. Consistency here means, she has been doing this for more than 20 years.
Career – It’s a word with so many words connecting to it. Career stability is not an easy job moreover the economy is like pasar malam now. Career development is a long journey. We have to learn leaping like a frog. We have to leap and leap, higher and further. But not leaping membabi buta. I have my own career now, but it is not my future life career. I will leap and leap once the time comes. The virgin time to leap surely will be difficult for me. Courage and confidence are the tools. The other thing about successful career is the sacrifice. Once you choose career as the important part of your life, you have to partly neglect your family, friends, time, love and even yourself. You want to leap higher? You have to sacrifice more. Successful man always marries late. So, what will you choose? I hate this.
My theory of life,
No money = mati.
No love = mati.
No family = mati.
No friends = mati
No career = mati.
I couldn’t neglect or abandon any one of them! Conclusion? Mati katak.
Lets stop all this crap about life and career. Recently I am addicted to a girl. Taylor Swift. I like her Love Story music video so much! She is so BEAUTIFUL!
That’s all for now.

“I couldn’t believe I am so lucky! I like all of them! I like everything! My boss gave me bonus 6 months! Site ah pek gave me RM 500 angpau! I naik pangkat jadi project manager! I bought a new car!”
Riingggg!!!! Riingggg! Woke up from my day dreaming…….. WTF! After 5 years pun taktau boleh ke tak. Haiz. I am so tired with my job. This is one of the most important decisions I have to make now…. “Should I change my job to QS now?”.
Advantages :
1) No need to face site “coarse” people everyday. Probably “fine” QS colleague is much better more.
2) No need to get TIU everyday and every hour.
3) No need to wake up and the first thing to think is SITE!
4) No need to work unpaid OT most of the working days.
5) No need to handle so many things and people.
6) No need to work under the sun for more than 10 hours everyday. This decreases the probability of getting a gf. ^^ I am depreciated.
7) No need to come back with dirty clothes and dusty skin.
8) No need to imagine killing all the bastards in the site. Not the labourers, but the ……….BASTARD…just bastard…..
9) No need to imagine killing all the bastards in the site. Not the labourers, but the ……….BASTARD…just bastard…..
10) And the last one…………….KILL!!!! KILL!!!! KILL ALL OF THEM!!!!!!! MUAHAHAHA!
Disadvantages/consequences:
1) Might get lower salary. No allowance.
2) Economy downturn, difficult to find good job.
3) Learn less and slower.
4) Extra extra OT during tendering period.
5) Resign means I surrender to myself?
6) Bad track record?
7) No more petrol allowance, toll allowance, car service allowance, and free lunch from boss sometimes.
According to the stats, I should change my job but not now. Correct? I should hold for more than 3-6 months before I change. Every morning I woke up, my heart beat fast. I think of site work. It’s true and it’s fast. I just want to give up every morning. It’s one of the most difficult obstacles in my life.
According to most of the industry senior, I shouldn’t change my job now. And some even say site work is better. ==” wondering….. But most of my classmates chose to be QS and encourage me to change my job. I don’t know what to do……I think my mind tell me to continue to remain tauhu and get scolded everyday. I just cant help myself. Let it be…Let it be……
That’s all I have to say.
SHOULD I CHANGE MY JOB?

My work My worries
How I lost my file? I left it on top of my car and drove off. =____=” Is it an excusable mistake? Luckily my boss didn’t take out his AK-47. Fuh…. So, the only I can do now is post something in my blog and hope I can meet up with the Surveyor tomorrow morning. I am already late to submit my work by half-month time. WTF.
Since last week I have a bad luck. I have been watching an “office politic” since the last few days. I am not sure whether it’s an “office politic”. Its between 2 parties from different organization where. I have made a conclusion by this “war”. The middle guy where they are to report to, is the real BATU API. I don’t understand why upper management people or higher-level job requires such a blardy trait. Example, A complain to B about C, B scold C. After that, C unhappy and try to clear up things, complain back to B about A, B scold A. So, that blardy B is the batu api where he made A and C quarrel. He should make things better by soften the complain made and find out solution, so that the whole work progress will be smooth all the way. Now, the both parties already TULAN among each other. One or two months more to face each other sour face.
Don’t you realize, upper management people possess a very powerful trait where not all human beings have the potential to develop it? It’s the blardy attitude of “marah-sini-marah-sana-tanpa-menghiraukan-betul-salah-Yang-penting-kerja-cepat-jalan”. Am I correct? Hahaha. If you think you can scold people without limit and scold people to the max, you have the potential to get to the higher-level job in your company. TAUHU people like me forever remain in the bottom or other less powerful position. Agree? So, we have to develop the blardy personality for the purpose of getting higher?
That’s all for tonight. Tired. Hope u all enjoy the working world.

My life and My Memories in UK
It’s been a very long time since I wrote the last post. Left out so many photos from UK here. It was a memorable moment in my life. Although I’ve wasted the opportunities to Eurotrip, I have enough excitement from England alone.
Since I came back from England, I don’t know what happened to me. I am just so…..Tauhu. = =”. My room has already been messed to the max for the first time in my 22 years of life as a human. I don’t even think of tidying it, probably somewhere before CNY. Kekeke.
I got my first permanent job in my life! As a Project Manager of the construction of world tallest building! (dreaming….) My working site at Puchong and sometimes Kajang. (Looking forward to meet Puchong pretties ^^) It’s quite far from my house. The total mileage I had driven during the first site day was 170KM……do u believe it? Actually it includes all the jalan sesat. = =”
My first day to work site was a disaster. Explain secara very ringkas :
1) No take file from office, kena shoot from boss.
2) Car key locked inside my car, engine still on. (Lucky my extra good buddy, Managing Director of Hong Lee Engineering, YB Leong KuCing took my spare key to me. Thank You so much!)
3) Go second site, sesat jalan for nearly an hour. From puchong to kajang, I pass by Cyberjaya, Putrajaya and Bangi. Total 170KM…..Imagine………Don’t laugh me, coz u are next…..wakakaka….
My job position is named as “site-supervisor” and I do progress claim for the both site, which I think should be site supervisor cum QS. Kekeke. Grand abit. My daily works are : (which many of my friends don’t know what I really do in my site ^^)
1) Writing site diary – this task is blardy leceh. Always forget what happened yesterday.
2) Checking material availability, report to main con if going to finish. – always kena shoot by the main con supervisor and operation manager, because order last minute. Rebars usually delivered around one-week time. A good forecast is needed. Timber 3-5 days. All depends on the magnitude of the project and many more factors. Bad forecast = die. Site die. Me die. All die. Because of? Me? Indon? Lolz.
3) Checking the work of the workers, usually length, size and level – I seldom do this because I trust them. But trust them = die, According to most of the seniors. So, I use most of my time walking here and there. Sometimes I don’t know what am I doing. Wahahaha.
4) Worker allocation – Allocate more workers to the critical works. Preventing idling workers and optimize resources usage.
5) Punch Card Machine – I am the “Punch card bergerak” mesin.
6) Attend site meeting – which is the task I hate most. Sure kena tembak, although I was the least to be aimed. Always ask “Why slow?” “When finish?” “I want more workers!” and once I heard The AGM scolded the sub con, “I can make sure this might be your last job!” = =” scary.
7) Delivery boy – Sometimes buy dinner for workers during OT, almost 40 of them now. Buy tools for them. Print plan for their Kepala. Take things here and there. Fetching workers to other site sometimes.
8) Do progress claim – which is the job of a QS. Claim 996. Especially V.O. claim where lost might happen usually if missed or miscalculated.
The main purpose of my job is to coordinate the site, which is to improve the efficiency and productivity where my boss maximizes the profits. The faster the project is done the cheaper the cost is.
Eg. 4 months project. = 4 months salary, machine rental and etc. If completed in 3 months time, one-month cost can be saved which may cost up to 75K. Means I am the 75K machine! Haha! But a delay means I worth negative and prepare to be fired.
This is my first job, luckily my boss helps me a lot. But I have been shot by his pistol for a few times. I hope no AK-47 will aim at me. I heard he has a bazooka with homing missiles. Ha ha.
2 and a half months since the day I stepped my foot again in Malaysia. And I miss UK. ^^ Its weird and impossible to understand the chemical that reacts in the bottom of our heart. In England, I miss CCM nasi lemak, teh ais, futsal, home, everything, every single cell in Malaysia! That time, I was so desperate to go back home. But now, guess what. I miss Sheffield…. I miss the fresh chilling air, £2.50 kebab and the thing that I missed most……the relaxing and easy life beyond what we can achieve in Malaysia!
I wish I could live one year alternately in Malaysia and Sheffield. Wahahaha! That’s the strange thing buried beneath our soul. When we are relaxing, grasping the mysterious air surrounding our pure body, we don’t realize the tranquility and peacefulness in our life. Loneliness and dullness was the only thing we thought. Once we stepped out from the so-called “desert”, we look back and realize that the “desert” is the place we have been searching for.
So…. I wish I could turn back time to 30 May 2008 where I just stepped my foot in England. I miss England. I miss the life. :’( Don’t ever come back to Malaysia if you’d gone to England. At least stay one year there. Enjoy while you can. Believe me!
Below are some memorable photos where I lacked out as I am so busy now. I miss all the times we had........
